Beijing Dazheng Yongye Unveils 30 Alloy Steel Matrix Cutting Pick, Breaking Hard Rock Tunneling Barriers
Beijing Dazheng Yongye Technology Co., Ltd. ("Dazheng Yongye") has launched its 30 Alloy Steel Matrix Cutting Pick. Leveraging military-grade alloy and innovative tungsten-cobalt technology, the product excels in tunneling underdeveloped slightly weathered hard rocks (granite, limestone, quartzite), offering a new solution for mining and tunnel projects and gaining industry attention.
- Military-Grade Materials: Core Advantages
The pick uses military-standard alloy steel as matrix, with tensile strength 980-1200MPa and yield strength ≥850MPa—40% higher in strength and toughness than traditional carbon steel picks. Precision quenching and tempering ensure structural stability.
- Superior High-Temperature Stability
Optimized heat treatment enables "no annealing at high temperatures": stable performance at ≤450℃ (short-term resistance up to 550℃), with hardness maintaining 269-321HB—solving overheating softening issues of ordinary picks.

- Hard Rock Adaptability & Industry Impact
Streamlined design reduces cutting resistance by 15%, while stepped cutting edges disperse impact. Combined with alloy advantages, it boosts efficiency and service life for dense hard rock scenarios.
"After 1+ years of R&D, we overcame key technical hurdles," said Dazheng Yongye's GM. "This product drives the industry from 'high-consumption' to 'high-efficiency'."
The pick has completed on-site tests and launch. Dazheng Yongye further innovate and build a customized service system for diverse geological needs.
